Martha Humanikwa

Senior HR Consultant | Apex Business Solutions

Martha Humanikwa is a seasoned strategic HR and L&D professional with over 15 years of experience delivering impactful human capital solutions across the NGO, corporate, and public sectors in South Africa and the SADC region. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a BCom in Human Resource Management, a PMP certification, and professional accreditations in skills development.

As the lead consultant of Apex Business Solutions’ training division, Martha is passionate about transforming HR data into powerful boardroom insights. Her recent work has focused on integrating AI and data analytics into performance management and organizational design, giving her a unique edge in interpreting HR metrics that drive strategic decisions.

Martha has consulted for leading organizations and led multiple high-impact projects in employment equity, skills planning, HR policy design, organisational design performance management, leadership development and job evaluation. She brings a grounded, compliance-driven yet visionary perspective on HR metrics and reporting.

Vish Ramsamy

Founder & Managing Executive, BBBEE Consultants | Chairperson, LEWUSA Union

Vish Ramsamy is a distinguished Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) transformation executive and human resources specialist with over 15 years of in-depth experience in the South African economic empowerment landscape. As the Founder and Managing Executive of Akasha Ratings and a seasoned B-BBEE External Analyst, Mr. Vish brings unmatched authority and insight into compliance, transformation strategy, and verification practices.

His multifaceted career spans key roles including B-BBEE Verification Analyst, Consultant, Verification Manager, and Union Chairperson, giving him a 360-degree view of empowerment implementation and auditing. Mr. Vish is also a founding member and Chairperson of LEWUSA (Labour, Economic & Women’s Union of South Africa), advocating for inclusive economic transformation, black ownership, and socio-economic upliftment.

He has worked with both large and small enterprises, ranging from JSE-listed entities to foreign-owned corporations—including Biovac SA, Hoëg-Auto Liners, Diacore, Minopex, Heineken SA, Astrapak Ltd, AfriSam, and Unitrans (Klipstone Transport division), contributing to award-winning transformation efforts.

Vish will address the crucial role of B-BBEE reporting in strategic decision-making. He will unpack how transformation scorecards, ownership structures, and preferential procurement impact business value, and how to align B-BBEE metrics with overall governance and board reporting frameworks.

Anton Visser

Group Chief Operating Officer – Alefbet Learning (SA Business School & Impact Sourcing Institute of South Africa)

Anton Visser is a seasoned operations executive with over 20 years of experience in project management and business operations across the education, technology, and media sectors. He currently serves as Group Chief Operating Officer at Alefbet Learning, the umbrella group for SA Business School and the Impact Sourcing Institute of South Africa, where he leads strategy, implementation, and operational excellence.

Before joining Alefbet Learning, Anton was the Group COO at Digicentral, where he oversaw complex projects in entertainment (live streaming), OTT platforms, online education, digital schools, learnerships, and skills programs. A pioneer in the training and education space, Anton led the digitization of the full CAPS curriculum into four languages and launched innovative Learning Management Systems tailored to the South African education and skills development context.

He has successfully exited high volumes of learners through various SETAs and has managed dynamic sales and project teams across South Africa, positioning him as a driving force in scaling impactful learning solutions.

Anton will provide insights into how skills development can be more than a compliance exercise, how it can be a strategic driver when linked to the right metrics. He will also share real case examples of SETA-aligned programs that delivered measurable impact, and offer strategies for digital enablement in training.
